The 8838 AZ digital cooking thermometer has a flip RTD (Pt100) external temperature probe, which could provide the accurate measuring result and insert into the meat or other solid target easily. For the semi-solid (ex: steak, meat, or other foods) or solution target, the RTD probe also could stir the target to make the temperature equilibrium. Users also can use their IR infrared temperature sensor to point to the high-temperature target to get the value safely. The illumination beam can be seen highlighting the measurement area.
